is an airport serving the city of Pucallpa, in the jungle of east- central Peru. It is the main entrance to the departament of Ucayali. Flights are arriving on a daily basis from the cities of Lima, Iquitos, Cusco y Tarapoto. It is also the main connection with other cities in the jungle from this department,like Atalaya (Ucayali), Puerto Esperanza (Purus) and Iquitos, and there seem to be flights since the year 2010 that connect with Cruzeiro do Sul and Rio Branco in Brasil, probably as charters. It is used by many tourists as a jumping-off point for trips into the jungle. Currently it is served by LAN PerĂº, Star Peru and TACA PerĂº.
